The designer Sybilla collaborates for the first time with the sustainable fashion brand Ecoalf to create a capsule collection for this autumn/winter. It’s a fun and feminine capsule collection that incorporates the print, colors and cuts of the designer with the technical knowledge of Ecoalf in the development of fabrics from recycled materials.

UPCYCLING THE OCEANS IN THAILAND

The Ecoalf Foundation, in conjunction with the Minister of Tourism of the Government of Thailand, Mr. Yuthasak Supasornha, and the CEO of PTT Global Chemical, Mr. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, announced a 3-year commitment to replicate Upcycling the Oceans in Southeast Thailand during the 2nd Edition of Sustainable Brands in Bangkok.

NEW MURALS CALL FOR ACTION ON SPECIES EXTINCTION

‘The Art of Beeing’ a tour of the USA by Britain’s Louis Masai. 20 murals, 12 cities, nine states from October to December 2016. Midday (EST) Thursday 6th October 2016, New York: British artist Louis Masai has arrived in the USA to begin his attempt to tackle species extinction through art. Masai’s mural of a New England Cottontail Rabbit in Bushwick, New York, kicks off The Art of Beeing tour as the first of 20 murals coming to 12 US cities this autumn. It is one of the most ambitious mural projects of its kind to date, reflecting the fast escalating extinction crisis. With dozens of species becoming extinct every day1, many scientists believe up to 50% of species are heading towards extinction by 2050.
