Ecoalf & RC. Deportivo de la Coruña join forces to clean the oceans

The Galician club will be the first soccer team in the world to wear a sustainable collection with yarn generated from the waste found in the bottom of the sea.


The designer Sybilla collaborates for the first time with the sustainable fashion brand Ecoalf to create a capsule collection for this autumn/winter.

It’s a fun and feminine capsule collection that incorporates the print, colors and cuts of the designer with the technical knowledge of Ecoalf in the development of fabrics from recycled materials.

Ecoalf launched Upcycling the Oceans Thailand.

In June 2017 the Ecoalf Foundation, in conjunction with the Minister of Tourism of the Government of Thailand, Mr. Yuthasak Supasornha, and the CEO of PTT Global Chemical, Mr. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, announced a 3-year commitment to replicate Upcycling the Oceans in Southeast Thailand which will help to remove the waste from the oceans and islands of Phuket, Smaui, Tao, Samed and Napangha


Ecoembes and the Ecoalf Foundation together in Upcycling the Oceans.

After the success of the trial test in Levante la Fundación Ecoalf y Ecoembes se unen en el 2016 to expand UTO to all the Spanish Coast.

Swatch Collaboration.

Ecoalf develops an exclusive collection made with 100% recycled fabrics to dress Swatch employees. The fabrics proceed from plastic bottles and cotton left overs. Today Swatch uniforms are made of 40.807 recycled plastic bottles and by using post consumed cotton, Ecoalf´s fabric saved over 30 million liters of water.

Starbucks Collaboration.

Exclusive products made with recycled coffee grounds from sustainable fashion brand ECOALF now available at Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room in Seattle.


Ecoalf joins efforts with will-i-am y Coca Cola to launch an exclusive and limited collection of Ekocycle garments made with Ecoalf fabrics en Harrods. and The Coca-Cola Company joined efforts to launch the EKOCYCLETM brand in order to inspire newness made from recycled materials. The EKOCYCLE brand’s ambition is to motivate brands and consumers to join them in their quest to make a more sustainable living cool.

Creation of the Ecoalf Foundation and launch of Upcycling the Oceans project.

Creation of the Ecoalf Foundation and launch - in collaboration with the HAP Foundation - of Upcycling the Oceans, whose primary goal is to promote the selective recovery, recycling and revaluing of ocean waste in order to prevent its adverse impact on the environment. This is achieved through the development and application of new scientific and technological advancements – especially with regard to plastic waste products that are found in the marine environment.


First Flip Flops Collection.

Ecoalf and SIGNUS , with CTCR (shoe technology center of Rioja) launched the first Flip Flops made of used tyres during the summer of 2014. Two years of research resulted in the first flip-flops 100% recycled, but what´s remarkable (besides the-re use of used material) is how its accomplished: using a treatment that can fix the air particles of the recycled tyres via pressure and heat, without using any type of adhesive or chemical product. The Flip-Flops received the award for Innovation (R Ecoembes).

COOL Hunting Collaboration.

Co-designed by Cool Hunting Founders, Josh Rubin and Evan Orensten and ECOALF’s Founder and President, Javier Goyeneche, the limited-edition jacket was available for men and women. The jacket is distinctively designed - the uniquely bold green color and contrasting camouflage - trimmed zipper, classify this as a Cool Hunting Edition.

Helena Rohner Collaboration.

Ecoalf and Helena Rohner, award-winning spanish jewelry designer, have joined forces to create a jewelry collection 100% made from recycled materials.


Partnership with Goop, the famous lifestyle site created by Gwyneth Paltrow.

After several months of work, Ecoalf presented the vest and backpack they successfully designed together.

Ecoalf designed a special collection of stylish and eco-conscious accessories created in partnership with Apple.

The cases’ recycled nylon fabric is made from discarded fishing nets.

Barneys New York requests Ecoalf an exclusive collection for the Spring Summer 2013 season.

Opening of the first Flagship store in Madrid.
