One of the most water-intensive processes when creating a garment is the dyeing process.
This process does not only require large amounts of water, but it takes a lot of energy, generates CO2 emission and even creates textile waste.
This season we integrate dope-dyeing technology for a zero-water dyeing process. Instead of having an additional step in the dyeing process (after the yarn is spun), dope-dyeing adds the color dye pellets to the 100% recycled polyester pellets, melts them so that they mix, and then forms them into a yarn. This seals the color into the yarn as the polyester cools to a solid form.
