OCEAN YARN

It is estimated that up to 12.7 million tonnes of plastic waste enter our oceans from land-based sources each year and 80% of it sits at the bottom of the ocean. The Upcycling the Oceans project recovers it, and we turn it into our top-quality Ocean Yarn, protecting our oceans and raising awareness.

PROTECTING OUR WATER

The fashion industry's current water usage could meet the needs of 110 million people annually. This season we call out a climate emergency on one of the major environmental threats from the fashion industry: water scarcity. We offer solutions committed to preserving our water sources on three vital fronts: employing low-impact recycled materials, adopting responsible dyeing processes, and innovating materials to combat microplastic pollution.

RECYCLING COTTON

An astounding 2 billion T-shirts are sold annually, each demanding a staggering 1,104 liters of water for production – enough to sustain an individual for nearly a year. This is why we have spent 12 years relentlessly working to develop a recycled cotton that is soft to the touch and on the planet. This Spring-Summer 2024 season, we have saved over 450 million liters of water by using recycled cotton.

ECOALF WELLNESS, ZERO WATER, ZERO PLASTIC*, CIRCULAR

The cosmetics industry produces about 120 billion plastic containers per year, unfortunately, only 10% of these are recycled. As a solution, we have developed a new generation of products that take care of your skin and the planet with 100% recyclable and refillable aluminum containers for greater durability and to promote circularity. Six solid and powder products with clean and upcycled formulas, 100% vegan, while respecting the ocean and avoiding 53 plastic containers a year with the collection.
