CREEMOS EN LA CREACIÓN A TRAVÉS DE LA TRANSFORMACIÓN

WE BELIEVE IN CREATION TROUGH TRANSFORMATION

Vision: stop using natural resources in a careless way.

Mission: create the first generation of recycled products with the same quality and design as the best non-recycled

COMPROMISE

With the planet, with the environment and with people. With ourselves, our companions and all the people that work with us: providers, collaborators…

COHERENCE

In what we do and what we say. In how we do it and how we tell it. Always with a single, unilateral message that transmits our compromise and our values.

TRANSPARENCY

Transparency guarantees this coherence and gives us credibility as a brand to third parties, but most importantly to our clients. Transparency implies being able to tell everything we do and how we do it, but to say it, we have to first analyse our brand internally to know our processes and the impact we generate.

DNA

SUSTAINABILITY

Suffice the current necessities without compromising those of future generations. A project for the future of our society, with the social, economic and environmental fundamentals in our blood.

INNOVATION

Revolutionary technology through the constant investment in R+D and collaborative investigation to reach the best quality in new materials, fabrics and processes.

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

The honesty of a timeless design and the transformation of ideas into actions are the ethos of ECOALF and give energy and power to always search for new perspectives and ways to propose ideas in a sustainable and innovative way.

More than 80 million tons of plastic bottles recycled so far

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

Both recycled fabric and organic fabric are sustainable raw materials. In ECOALF, we prefer to use the recycled fabrics because their negative environmental impact is much lower.

Recycled materials

Using wasted resources as a raw material allows reducing the consumption of natural resources. ECOALF turns residue to a great quality raw material - and in this way, the wasted material is reduced. In the majority of processes, ECOALF uses mechanical recycling - the most sustainable form of recycling. In terms of energy consumption and CO2 emissions, the production of a recycled material thread has a much lower impact compared with conventional thread.

Low-impact materials

When we talk about the impact of a fibre, we must take into account that its source is a small object in a larger picture. Currently, six parameters are used to determine the sustainability of a material: 1_Energy consumption/CO2 emissions. 2_Use of water. 3_Use of the ground. 4_Use of chemical products. 5_Relationship with biodiversity. 6_Production of solid residues.

Animal-based materials

ECOALF does not use natural fur in its collections; it stopped doing so 3 years ago. The main reason was not being able to guarantee the use of chrome in the furs, as well as the origin of the animals and the non-abuse of them. Being able to change the world and being more respectful with our planet is something that we can only do if everyone provides their grain of sand.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT IN THE PRODUCTION CHAIN

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT IN THE PRODUCTION CHAIN

Every part of the process in our chain of consumption generates a direct environmental impact on our planet. This is why all of ECOALF’s providers have at least one Bluesign® certification, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

Instead of C6, ECOALF uses CO

meaning that the water-resistant fabrics are free of PFC (free fluorocarbon)

All ECOALF products abide with the REACH standard (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals). REACH is an analytic company that verifies that chemical products used in production are not harmful.

Ecoalf is developing its own list of restricted products:

SOCIAL COMPROMISE

SOCIAL COMPROMISE

To guarantee the minimum adherence to environmental and social standards, ECOALF has created an internal compromise with all its providers, demanding at least one of the following certifications: BSCI or SA8000.

More than 1000 conferences all over the world

EDUCATION AND DIVULGATION

EDUCATION AND DIVULGATION

ECOALF has taken part in more than 100 conferences and forums, accepting that scientific knowledge and its technological derivatives are an eminently social product and recognising the importance of tasks of diffusion and divulgation of science.
