A través del algodón reciclado conseguimos importantes ahorros en el consumo de agua y emisiones de CO2, además de darle una segunda vida a residuos textiles. De esta manera, evitamos el uso de algodón virgen, reduciendo la presión de los materiales naturales. Por otro lado, no requiere el uso de pesticidas y fertilizantes evitando la contaminación de suelos y aguas, además no requiere el cultivo de nuevas tierras preservando la biodiversidad y evitando la deforestación.

En el cultivo del algodón orgánico se evita el uso de pesticidas y fertilizantes potencialmente dañinos para la salud y el medio ambiente, así como el no uso de semillas genéticamente modificadas, por lo que tratamos de frenar la pérdida de biodiversidad.
