Men’s sustainable jeans
At Ecoalf we know that a good pair of jeans is the basis of any wardrobe. That’s why our men’s denim collection focuses on what truly matters, a great fit, that they last for years and that their manufacture respects the planet’s natural resources. It’s not just about aesthetics, but also about applying innovation to reduce the impact of one of the most resource-consuming garments in fashion.
We use a blend of 65% regenerative cotton and 35% recycled cotton to create versatile garments that require no synthetic fibres and which offer a real alternative to those looking for functional design and a more conscientious lifestyle.
Why choose men’s responsible denim?
Producing a conventional pair of jeans consumes over 6,000 litres of water. With our Denim for the Planet range, we have managed to significantly reduce that impact. Every pair of our jeans saves up to 5,434 litres of water, which is equivalent to the water one person drinks over more than 7 years.
We are also committed to full circularity. Our garments are mono-material, which makes them 100% recyclable. We have removed metal rivets and use buttons that can easily be removed, ensuring that your clothing can have a new life in the future without generating waste.
What types of jeans and denim garments can you find?
Our selection focuses on clean-cut designs and tones that won’t go out of fashion, created to fit naturally into your everyday routine:
Slim-fit and straight-leg jeans
Styles designed to offer the perfect fit without losing their shape. By removing the elastane, we achieve an authentic fabric that keeps its structure and character over time. Available in classic washed, greys and neutral tones and produced without the use of toxic chemicals.
Denim shirts
The ideal mid-season layer. These durable and versatile garments are made using the same responsible technology as our jeans. Their timeless design ensures they continue to be a basic part of your wardrobe season after season.
Innovation in dyeing and finishing
We don’t use traditional chemical processes to achieve our colours. We apply the Smart-Indigo technology which uses electricity to dye the fabric, and which significantly reduces CO2 emissions.
In the final finishes, we replace polluting methods with laser and ozone technologies. This not only saves water, but also eliminates the use of harmful chemicals and pumice stones, which protects the health of the workers and marine ecosystems.
Conscientious style for your everyday wear
The entire men’s denim range is designed to be easily combined with the rest of the collection. The cuts allow you to create balanced looks, whether you combine them with our t-shirts, made from organic cotton or with a sustainable sweatshirt.
To finish off a cohesive outfit, you can combine your jeans with our trainers, whose soles are made from recycled rubber. It’s a way of dressing where every detail has a purpose, bringing together design and responsibility in each layer.
Frequently asked questions about men’s denim
Where is the Denim for the Planet collection manufactured?
To reduce our carbon footprint, we opt for local production. Our whole denim range is manufactured in facilities that meet the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility, ensuring water saving and reduced emissions at every stage of the process.
What is the fit of your jeans like?
Our designs aim to strike a balance between freedom of movement and a defined figure. They are designed to offer comfort from the very first wear, adapting naturally to your everyday routine.
How should I care for my denim garments?
We recommend that you always wash them in cold water, avoid tumble drying and only wash your garments when necessary. This way, you will preserve the colour and structure of the fabric for longer, as well as reducing water and energy consumption at home.
Is it a suitable fabric for year-round wear?
Yes. Due to the breathability of the natural and recycled fibres, our denim garments are comfortable both in the colder months and mid-season, making them the perfect basis for any look.
