A LOOK INTO THE REALITY OF OUR OCEANS
OUR OCEANS ARE THE LUNGS OF THE PLANET AND PROVIDE UP TO 80% OF THE OXYGEN WE BREATHE
-
THERE ARE CURRENTLY 150 MILLION TONNES OF PLASTIC IN OUR OCEANS
-
YET WE ARE USING THEM AS A GIANT LANDFILL.
-
OVER 8 MILLION TONNES OF PLASTIC ENTER OUR OCEAN EACH YEAR.
With just a pair of fins we dive deep into the ocean with her. Here you can see the effects of climate change beneath the ocean’s surface. As temperatures continue to rise, corals lose their colors and 50% of coral reefs are already destroyed. To protect our oceans we need to find a balance between our needs and those of the planet, one way is to limit single-use plastics and give a second life to already existing plastic.
POETRY WITH A PURPOSE
To further inspire the current and future generations, planet enthusiast Probably Tomfoolery has crafted an uplifting poem to advocate for change and share the opportunity we have to leave a positive impact on the planet.
