By using recycled cotton, we achieve significant savings in water consumption and CO2 emissions, while also giving textile waste a second life. In this way, we avoid the use of virgin cotton, reducing the strain on natural resources. Furthermore, it does not require the use of pesticides or fertilizers, thereby preventing soil and water contamination; it also does not require the cultivation of new land, which helps preserve biodiversity and prevent deforestation.
Organic cotton farming avoids the use of pesticides and fertilizers that are potentially harmful to health and the environment, as well as the use of genetically modified seeds, thereby helping to curb the loss of biodiversity.
