Organic cotton cultivation avoids using pesticides and fertilisers that are potentially harmful to health and the environment, as well as staying away from genetically modified seeds, striving to curb biodiversity loss.
Using recycled cotton leads to significant savings in water consumption and CO2 emissions, not to mention giving textile waste a new lease of life. In doing so, we avoid using virgin cotton, reducing the pressure on natural materials. It also does not require the use of pesticides and fertilisers, thereby avoiding soil and water contamination, and does not require further cultivation, thereby preserving biodiversity and avoiding deforestation.
