Product Details

The Gina striped trousers are made from a main fabric containing 80% linen. Regular fit. Mid-rise. Side and back pockets. Adjustable elastic waistband with drawstring.

Composition and Impact

Tejido principal: 80% Lino / 20% Algodón Reciclado

El lino, a diferencia del algodón, se puede cultivar solamente con agua de lluvia en la mayoría de los casos, reduciendo significativamente su huella hídrica. Además, es una planta resistente a plagas y enfermedades, reduciendo el uso de pesticidas y fertilizantes. Se adapta bien a suelos pobres pudiendo usarse aquellos no aptos para otros cultivos alimentarios. Suele cultivarse en rotación de cultivos, mejorando la salud del suelo. Es biodegradable y compostable si no se mezcla con fibras sintéticas. Por otro lado, se puede aprovechar toda la planta. Las prendas de lino son resistentes, aumentando su vida útil.
